On August 23, a field training for the "Noto Satoyama Satoumi SDGs Meister Program" was held in Suzu City. This time, 16 students from Kanazawa University participated as part of the university course "Noto Regional Revitalization Seminar," and 15 university staff members participated as part of their introductory training, with the program participants.
In the first half of the program, participants visited the planned site for Kanazawa University off-grid demonstration experiment, as well as observed off-grid initiatives by MINNANO-UMA INC. at Suzu Horse Park. In the second half, a lecture on the off-grid demonstration experiment was held at Ishikawa Prefectural Iida High School, followed by group work focused on potential uses of the surrounding area. During the group work, participants, students, staff exchanged a variety of perspectives, resulting in lively discussions.
